The Canadian Premier League kicked off on Saturday, April 27 th , 2019, which should be the greatest moment in Canadian soccer history. First Half – Ryan Telfer the hero for York 9 FC It was clear for the first 9 minutes of the game; Forge FC was anxious in CPL’s first ever game as York 9 FC came into the game blazing. York 9 FC had two golden chances early in the game, with the second one coming from Rollocks for Forge FC could not gather the ball, which allowed Telfer to have a break away and score into the bottom left corner.

Game 1 - Baltimore Blast vs. Mississauga MetroStars SECU Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland, United States of America The Baltimore Blast celebrated their third straight championship in Baltimore against the Mississauga MetroStars. The MetroStars, a new indoor or arena pro soccer team coming into the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) were clearly the underdogs and it showed in their first ever pro soccer game in franchise history. First Quarter: Baltimore starts off with a quick start as Orlando gets a shot past the MetroStars goalkeeper. Juez scored shortly afterwards and Baltimore were leading 2-0 early in the game. Then with 8:26 remaining in the quarter Toratelli to Dos Santos for the Blast scored to make it 3-0 Baltimore. The MetroStars almost scored with two chances, one from a Mo Babouli pass and another one from Dwayne De Rosario's shot on goal. Mississauga's Dwayne De Rosario prevented Baltimore from scoring another goal with a a goal-saving kick, and the first quarte
